To make life easier, we’ve answered some of the most frequently asked questions Nissan owners have about caring for their vehicles. What is the warranty period for my Nissan?

Nissan provides a 5years / Unlimited KM warranty from the factory. Contact your local dealer for more information, and additional benefits that may apply (applicable to vehicles from model year 2021 or newer).

What parts are covered in warranty?

All parts for your Nissan are covered by our warranty, with few exceptions listed under "What is not covered".

What is Not Covered under Nissan Warranty?

1. Tires are covered by a separate warranty by the tire manufacturer

2. Any accessories or equipment installed by person outside the Nissan dealership or distributor.

3. Any parts and labor costs incurred in connection with required or recommended maintenance services as outlined in your OWNER’S MANUAL and the MAINTENANCE SECTION.

4. Normal maintenance service such as engine tune-up, cleaning and polishing, wheel balancing and alignment, headlight aiming, replacement of filters, windshield wiper inserts, key fob batteries, light bulbs, spark plugs, distributor points, drive belts, lubricants and coolant, worn brake shoes, pads, drums and rotors and worn clutch discs.

5. Damage or failures resulting from:

5.1 Misuse, accident, theft or fire (Proper use is outlined in OWNER’S MANUAL.)

5.2 Use of improper or dirty fuel, fluids or lubricants

5.3 Lack of performance of proper maintenance services as outlined in your OWNER’S MANUAL and the MAINTENANCE SECTION in the Warranty booklet

5.4 Use of non-genuine NISSAN parts

5.5 Alteration, tampering or improper repair

5.6 Glass breakage, unless resulting from defects in material or workmanship

5.7 Normal wear or tear, including dings, dents, chips or scratches

5.8 Stone chipping, chemical fallout (acid rain), tree sap, salt, hail, wind/sandstorm, lightning, flood or other environmental conditions

5.9 Repairs not performed by an authorized Nissan dealer or distributor

6. Normal deterioration of trim, paint or other appearance items.

7. Any Nissan vehicle on which the odometer reading has been changed so that mileage cannot be readily determined.

8. Incidental or consequential damages such as loss of use of the Nissan vehicle, inconvenience or commercial loss.

9. Any parts and labor costs resulting from puncture.

What to do when I have a problem with my Nissan?

Contact your local Nissan Dealer and explain the situation. Your Nissan dealer will provide expert opinions and analysis to get your vehicle back on track.

Are windshields covered in warranty?

Windshields are covered under Nissan Warranty when workmanship or material defects are found. Any external factor which caused damage like chip stones, accident etc. are not covered under warranty.

Tires warranty and age

Tires originally installed on a new Nissan vehicle are covered by the tire manufacturer's warranty. In order to obtain tire warranty service, you must present the unserviceable tire to a local tire agent, unless otherwise directed by Nissan. Our official dealer will assist you in requesting an adjustment through the local tire agent if necessary.

How can we extend warranty, and what are the terms and conditions?

Contact your local Nissan Dealer to inquire about Extended Warranty. The Nissan representative will expertly assist you in best possible way.

Battery warranty

The coverage period is 36 months or 100,000 km whichever comes first, on a pro rata basis as follows:

PART COST

A defective original 12V battery which becomes unserviceable within the fi rst 12 months will be replaced free of charge.

After 12 months and within 24 months, NISSAN will pay 50% of the new 12V battery.

After 24 months and within 36 months, NISSAN will pay 25% of the new 12V battery.

LABOR COST

All labor required to test and replace the defective 12V battery within 36 months is covered by the warranty.

I am moving to another country within GCC, is my warranty valid in the new country?

Nissan warranty is valid throughout GCC and Jordan.

Why do I need to perform regular maintenance?

Your Nissan vehicle has been manufactured using the latest technology and under the strictest quality control standards. It is also designed to minimize maintenance requirements with longer service intervals to keep you on the road for longer, saving you both time and money. Scheduled maintenance is necessary to ensure your Nissan vehicle is always performing at its best.

Do I have to change only Oil & Filter on regular Maintenance?

Your Nissan vehicle is equiped with many wear and tear items which requires regular maintenance, this will ensure your Nissan is always performing at a top level.

Not maintaining those items might lead to failure of components and you might need to spend more money on repairs.

Nissan recommends regular periodic service from their authorised service centre where technicians are specifically trrained to carry out respected maintenance & inspection for your Nissan.

What is the service interval for the maintenance?

Nissan recommends to perform regular maintenance of your vehicle at every 10,000 KM or 6 months whichever comes first.

Remember proper maintenance of your Nissan vehicle will keep the validity of warranty as improper servicing might lead you to losing warranty repairs, so we highly recommend to keep your service history up-to-date.
